In addition to third-party insurance litigation defense, we regularly represent life, health and disability insurers in both contractual and bad faith litigation. We authored the Kentucky section of an American Bar Association book regarding misrepresentation on insurance applications.
EMPLOYMENT LAW
We represent businesses in litigation involving all aspects of employment law, including contract disputes, wage and hour issues and discrimination claims. We also defend benefit disputes such as for unemployment, workers' compensation and ERISA benefits.
GOVERNMENTAL LITIGATION
The firm's attorneys have a long history of representing local governments, their officials and employees, including law enforcement. Our experience includes in litigation involving negligence, alleged civil rights violations, immunity issues and constitutional questions.
COMMON CARRIER DEFENSE
TURNER, KEAL & BUTTON attorneys have tried many cases involving city bus accidents (eight in the 2014-2017 time period), representing both the local transit authority and individual drivers. Our attorneys have decades of combined experience handling common carrier litigation.
